From 20 September 2026, every Carinthia200 rider becomes their own live tracker — using the phone already in their jersey pocket. With the Sporlyst Tracker app, friends, family and race control can follow the race live.
No extra GPS device, no hardware to return after the finish. Riders simply download the free Sporlyst Tracker app for iPhone or Android and connect it to their personal race profile.
Save yourself some stress on race morning and complete these first steps at home:
1. Download Sporlyst Tracker from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Scan your personal QR code, which you’ll receive by email before the race. Check your spam folder too. You can scan the code with your camera, select it from your photos or enter it manually.
3. Press START on race morning
The first time you start tracking, choose “Allow all the time” when asked for location access. After that, your screen can be off and your phone can stay safely in your pocket.
When mobile coverage disappears in Carinthia’s valleys, Sporlyst keeps recording your position offline and uploads it automatically when you reconnect.
Start the race with your phone charged to 100%. If the battery reaches 20%, tracking pauses automatically to protect your remaining battery and race control is notified. Connect a power bank if needed and press START again to continue.
The app’s red SOS button alerts race control and shares your position. If there’s no signal, the alert is sent as soon as your phone reconnects. For a serious emergency, always call 112 first, then press SOS. The full course and checkpoints are also stored on your phone for offline use. During the race you can see your distance and the countdown to your next cutoff. You can also export the course as a GPX file for your preferred navigation app.
Race control doesn’t just see the riders. Carinthia200 support vehicles use the same tracking system, including the six vehicles provided by our Gold Partner Škoda Lindner Villach, among them three of the brand-new Škoda Epiq. Seeing riders and support vehicles together helps race control respond quickly when assistance is needed.
Friends and family don’t need the app or an account. Simply visit races.sporlyst.com, select Carinthia200 and follow the race live. The map becomes active 30 minutes before the official start, so don’t worry if it’s still empty the evening before. Sporlyst shares your GPS position only while tracking is switched on. You can pause tracking or register your withdrawal from the race directly in the app.
Download the app before race day, scan your QR code when it arrives, and press START on the morning of 20 September. Need help? App support will be available during the expo days before the race.
